Before digital cameras came along, you had to set your "F stop" to the proper setting to have the right exposure for your photos. There was a saying among photojournalists: "F8 and be there."--set your camera to F8, and get to the scene ready to go. Not that much has changed, really.

Truth be told, I wanted to be a photojournalist when I grew up.

Rainbow: About

Yesterday, we received yet more rain from the heavens, making the total for the month as recorded by the Ruskin High School rain meter at 17.58 inches. However, none of our other storms blessed us with a full horizon rainbow. Please to imagine the two pictures in the post above, together, for the full effect.

This shot shows all the colors in the rainbow. It was getting later, with the sun starting to set when this was taken.
